The Korea Communications Commission (KCC, Chairman Han Sang-hyuk) has prepared comprehensive measures taking into account characteristics of app market business operators and developers and users to effectively enforce the Telecommunications Business Act. The Act introduces obligations for app market business operators, such as prohibiting forcing specific payment methods. The KCC also disclosed its judgement on restricting outlinks for web payments.
